Memetic Art · Onchain Provenance · Old-World Craft
Art history and internet culture, rendered in gold leaf, latex, and blockchain ink. A curated survey of the Pepavaggio body of work — its characters, its rituals, and the studio behind them.
The formal portraits — courtly, gothic, theatrical. Where Pepavaggio borrows most openly from the old masters, and the frog holds still long enough to be painted.

Genre cosplay. Pepavaggio steps into horror, sci-fi, and stage-play archetypes — a working library of characters recognizable on sight, rebuilt from the frog up.

A recurring cast within the Pepavaggio world — lilac hair, leopard print, a jacket with the gang's name stitched on the back. Street-level, unbothered, running their own crew.

A quiet answer to the frog's other reputation. No sadness here — just stillness, robes, and a hand held up in peace. The calmest room in the house.

A chocolatier's shop, rendered in gold leaf and dripping tears. Elegant women in period dress browse a display case where some of the confections have faces. Luxury with a queasy aftertaste — obsession dressed up as indulgence.

Not a finished body of work but a running one. Abstractia is a living, generative art broadcast — Pepavaggio appears inside it as an easter egg, nestled into each day's piece rather than standing apart from it.

abstractia.today ↗Robes, staves, crystalline armor — Pepavaggio as sorcerer, priestess, and something older than either. This is also where the artist's recurring mantras surface most directly, the same lines echoing across otherwise unrelated pieces.

Brand extensions and cross-overs — the studio working outside its own name.

Four stages, one studio, shot in Denver, Colorado — from laying out possibilities to hand-cut metallic archival collage. The fourth stage is a collaboration, an impromptu session grinding and finishing metalwork alongside artist Cammy Rahore. (This same studio process — screen-recorded rather than staged — is also the proof-of-work behind Shoot Your Shot.)
Digital fine artist. Art history, meme culture, and onchain provenance, fused into one practice.
Maxximillian Pepavaggio is an internationally exhibiting digital fine artist whose work fuses art history, meme culture, and state-of-the-art technology. Each token can also become a signed, numbered archival print — pigment-based inks, acid-free paper, and traceable certification via Transient Labs.
Collectors experience the work through augmented reality layers that bring static pieces to life, turning them into narratives rather than objects. Every token is recorded on decentralized ledgers, for provable ownership, provenance, and rarity.
Each piece hides clues and invites exploration — part of an unfolding artistic storyline. The first collector of a piece receives an exclusive first-edition print in rose-gold ink, a tangible record of their part in it.
